My Story Animated My Dad Watched Me On Camera
As a child, I always loved watching cartoons and animated movies. I was fascinated by the way the characters came to life on the screen and how their stories could capture my imagination. Little did I know that one day, my own story would become an animated tale.
The Beginning
It all started when I was in high school. I had a passion for drawing and storytelling, and I would spend hours creating my own characters and writing stories about them. One day, I decided to create an animated short film about a girl who discovers a magical world hidden behind a door in her bedroom.
I worked on the film for months, painstakingly drawing each frame by hand and adding color and sound effects. When it was finally finished, I was proud of what I had created. But little did I know that my dad had been watching me the whole time.
The Discovery
One day, I came home from school to find my dad sitting in front of the computer, watching my animated film. At first, I was embarrassed that he had seen it without my permission. But then he told me how much he loved it and how impressed he was with my talent.
He suggested that I upload the film to YouTube so that others could see it. I was hesitant at first, but he convinced me to give it a try. So, I created a YouTube channel and uploaded my film. To my surprise, it quickly gained thousands of views and positive comments.
The Spark
That was the spark that ignited my passion for animation. I continued to create short films and upload them to YouTube, each one improving on the last. I even started taking animation classes in college, honing my skills and learning new techniques.
But the real breakthrough came when I discovered a website called My Story Animated. It was a platform that allowed people to submit their own stories, which would then be turned into animated videos. I was intrigued, and I decided to submit one of my own stories.
The Process
The process was simple. I wrote out my story, which was about a girl who discovers she has the power to time travel. I submitted it to My Story Animated, and within a few weeks, they contacted me to say that they were interested in turning it into an animated video.
They sent me a storyboard of the video, which outlined the scenes and characters. I was blown away by how accurately they had captured my vision. They even asked for my input on certain aspects of the animation, such as the character design and color scheme.
The Result
When the video was finally finished, I was amazed at how well it had turned out. The animation was top-notch, and the voice acting brought the characters to life in a way that I could never have imagined.
The video was uploaded to YouTube, and it quickly became one of the most popular videos on the My Story Animated channel. People from all over the world were commenting on how much they loved the story and how it had inspired them.
The Lesson
Looking back on my journey, I realize that it was my dad who sparked my passion for animation. If he hadn't encouraged me to upload my first animated film to YouTube, I might never have discovered my love for animation.
The lesson that I learned from this experience is that sometimes, you need someone else to see the potential in you that you can't see in yourself. My dad saw something in me that I didn't even know was there, and it changed the course of my life.
